Soap and Sip at Murray's Fools Distilling

Ready for a fun brunch crafting your own natural soap?

In this hands-on workshop at Murray's Fools Distilling, you'll craft your very own handcrafted soap to enjoy. 

Each step of creating your custom soap batch will be complemented by sips of a complimentary craft beverage from Murray's Fools. Enjoy a signature cocktail or mocktail from Murray's Fools (or NYS beer or cider).

You'll choose a mineral-based colorant and a fragrance for your batch of soap, and will be able to cut your soap into 4 or 8 bars to enjoy.

Your registration includes one beverage and one custom batch of soap with expert instruction. (Additional beverages and snacks are available for purchase.)

All soapmaking materials and supplies will be provided; no prior experience is necessary. Suitable for students ages 18 and up. You will need to pick-up your custom soap creation from Murray's Fools Distilling or Mineral Springs Soap the week after class. (Fresh soap is not set up enough to safely transport and cannot be brought home from class directly.)

SAFETY NOTE: This is an 18+ class due to the use of lye (sodium hydroxide). Cold process soap requires a month to cure before use. Safety goggles and gloves will be available to share, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
